Hi everyone! My name is Shannan, I was born on Kwajalein , a small island in the middle of the Pacific ocean . Surrounded by the vast , deep, brilliant blue ocean . From my very first breath the water has taught me how to exist in a world that’s too loud , too fast , and too intense . As a Scorpio, a fixed water sign, and a proud Neurodivergent empath , the ocean and any water source has been my ultimate sanctuary . For years I used my and hands to repair complex consumer electronics so I know what it means to look at a chaotic broken system and have to patiently piece them back together but after profound life changes and health struggles and navigating a world not built for sensitive souls I felt my calling . I wanted to help anyone I could who is like me to not suffer like me . I was late diagnosed with ADHD and RSD in my 50’s which now my life finally makes sense at least. If I had a diagnoses at an earlier age I may have been able to avoid some of the other mental issues that I acquired through time so I believe 100% in change for our young females being diagnosed properly as to avoid further damage to their mental health but I guess the saying ”better late than never” is true because now I can use my ADHD as a superpower !
